I am recently seeking a new position due to downsizing and found your listing for a Project Accountant in the Dallas Daily News. These documents are being submitted in order to put name forward for this opening. I have attached my resume for your perusal and consideration.
My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Administration and I also have close to six years of experience working as an accountant and three years as a Project Accountant. I am highly organized and I have the skills to set up budgets and ledgers and make sure that all monies are reconciled at the end of each quarter. I know that it takes great attention to detail to be successful as well as having the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
It is vital that any Project Accountant keep track of all spending on a project including purchase orders and employee time records. For this reason, I am fully comfortable stating that I would be the best person for this position and that your company would benefit from hiring me.
