With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and over three years of experience working in the financial department for a well-known company in the area, I believe that I qualify as a worthy candidate for this job. I am also CPA certified. My experience includes working with analytical software and I can use Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Spreadsheets proficiently along with a number of accounting software programs.
My experience also includes preparing financial statements and creating the annual budget for different departments within the company. I have the skills needed to supervise and manage the revenues and expenditures associated with projects to make sure they stay within the set budget and that they are completed by the deadline.
I have the ability to collect data and perform audits to determine if the project is progressing according to schedule. If there are problems holding up the project, I have the ability to find solutions and get everything back on track. I have outstanding time-management, organizational and multitasking abilities.
I am dependable and I possess the skills to work with a team to accomplish a common goal. I have the type of personality needed to help motivate others to get the job done in an efficient manner while maintaining quality. I also have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
