I have excellent mathematical skills with the ability to run the cash register, scanners and other equipment in the store proficiently. I am familiar with and have the ability to follow company policies and procedures regarding all forms of payments. My skills include having the ability to learn your computer system and new jobs quickly and my strong observation skills help me to notice when customers need assistance.

I also have the ability to greet and monitor customers, which improves service and helps to cut back on theft. My courteous and friendly personality and positive attitude makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and I know how to make the customers feel welcome. This encourages repeat business and it helps to build a good reputation for your company. My abilities also include using the trucks to move the merchandise around and to keep the shelves stocked and the store clean.

I am physically fit and able to handle the heavy lifting and standing for long periods associated with this job. I am also familiar with the alcohol and tobacco laws and understand the importance of complying with them at all times. I have lots of patience and great communication skills along with a real desire to assist the customers with their needs. I also have the ability to present myself in a professional manner at all times, all of which help qualify me for this position.
