I noticed that you have an opening for a risk officer and would be delighted to put my name forward for your consideration. You will find my resume attached to this document for your convenience and perusal.
I obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from an accredited four year college and have been employed in this industry for over ten years. I have a high degree of knowledge in insurance liability and know and understand all compliance standards that include financial, operations, personnel reports, property and all regulations. I have worked with the finance department to come up with insurance strategies to help with preventative procedures that would alleviate potential losses.
I am a natural leader and have been in management positions for four years. I can take charge of any situation and bring meetings to order with ease. I am a self starter and can easily motivate myself and others to get any task accomplished in a timely manner. My verbal and written skills come in handy when working in a team environment and I am highly computer literate.
I come to you with extensive knowledge in risk analysis, database management and capital management. I have also worked with risk metrics and have a knowledge base of all the legal requirement and compliance regulations for not only this state but also on a federal level. I am a natural problem solver and do not mind taking a risk when I know it will work out for the good of the company.
