Here is the Competent Autism Support Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Frank,

Please accept my resume for the position of Autism Support with Keystone Autism Services. I hope that you will seriously consider me for this position.

Providing support for children with autism and their families takes a special type of person. You need compassion, understanding and a real love for others. I have these qualities and a strong desire to help teach patients and their families how to deal with autism to help improve the quality of life for these patients. I have the patience needed to work with and teach these children in a relaxed and loving environment where they can grow and learn ways to adapt to their surroundings.

In addition to these personal traits, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences and six years of experience working with autistic children. My experience also includes working with children inside of a facility in an office setting and of visiting the homes of many children to observe them when they are in a familiar setting.

I have the ability to help create and implement intervention plans to help children with autism progress towards living a normal, fully functional life. I can monitor the child’s progress, determine which plans are working, which ones are not and I can help to make changes where needed.

I have experience in dealing with the media and helping to teach others exactly what autism is. I do this by answering questions, providing literature and being a spokesperson for those who live with this condition every day.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and you can reach me by calling (555)-555-5555.

Sincerely,

Signature

Jerry Silver
