I would like to be considered for the food science position that is currently listed by your company Van Law Food Products, Inc. Attached you will find my resume and references for your convenience and perusal.

With my bachelor’s degree in chemistry and six years working in a lab setting as a food scientist, I feel that my qualifications make me the perfect candidate for this position. In my experience I have supervised the efficient safekeeping of records and performed research utilizing computer and lab notebooks. I also designed and performed different experiments to initiate new products in the market.

It was also my task to perform the evaluation of all ingredients for products to determine the safety of packages to ensure product quality. This included preparing reports about product quality and maintaining guidelines to ensure the completion of all pilot projects for the company.

I also coordinated with cross-functional teams to provide up gradation for new product formulations and designed instructions to upgrade the quality of products and monitored prices through regular and consistent evaluations. This was done along with developing and maintaining relationship with all research and technical groups of customers.

Finally, I prepared plans and supervised research to prepare the required documents for food preparation and seasoning blends along with providing technical backup and resolving all customer problems and grievances through the evaluation of alternative food suppliers.
