I would like to take this opportunity to apply for the Information Security Analyst position with Nova Corporation.

I am sure you will agree that my experience and skills is a perfect match to your requirements. I have a bachelor’s degree in information technology and I studied extra courses on information security. While earning my degree, I worked as a database administrator, so I am very familiar with the problems and challenges associated with computer systems.

I also have extensive knowledge of network administration protocols such as TCP/IP and Windows Server. Having this type of experience better qualifies for the security analyst position because I have a better understanding of the need for security and the risks involved if sensitive data falls into the wrong hands.

Even with the best security measures in place, there are times when security may be breached. In this case, I have the ability to keep calm and stay focused on the job to determine how the hacker got in and to take care of the problem in a fast and efficient manner. Once the problem is located, I have the training and experience to fix the problem to make sure it never happens again.

Technology is always changing and hackers are constantly finding new ways to get into systems, so I make it a point to stay updated on all the latest news and information in order to provide the best protection possible. I can work flexible hours so being “on call” is not a problem and I hope to meet with you in person soon to talk more about this position.
