Please accept my letter of application for the position of College Instructor of English at Davidson College. I am well qualified for this position, and offer all that you require in your advertisement. I have enclosed my resume for your review.
I have a Masters in English Teaching from Dartmouth College, as well as over six years’ experience teaching hands on at the college level. During this six year period, I instructed at Princeton University, and was directly responsible for all curriculum being implemented in the English department. I, myself, commandeered approximately three classes a semester, with each class having an enrollment of approximately 30 students. I look to bring my love of education, my well developed knowledge in this field, and my love for teaching to your college. I am confident that this experience, my professional references, my communication and mentoring skills make me an excellent candidate for this position.
