I am applying for the school caretaker position that has recently opened at your institution, Lighthouse Academies.

I have a high school diploma and have a clean record. I can pass any background or drug test that I know will be required of me before I am considered for the position. I have been a caretaker for over ten years and understand what is required of me in order to be successful.

I am able to work alone without any supervision to complete my daily tasks and I have a great attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the property are in great working order. I can do landscaping for the exterior of the building along with any interior projects such as painting or minor repairs that may be required. Plumbing and electrical issues that are not out of control I can handle and can also alert the proper authorities to let them know when there is a problem that is out of my experience level.

My communication skills are very good and I can fill out any forms that are required as a part of my job description. I am also able to articulate any issues that need attention and can call in contractors to take care of those needs that I cannot handle.
