I am applying for a welding engineer position with your company Concurrent Technologies Corporation and have attached my resume for your convenience.

My education includes a bachelor’s of science degree in welding engineering and I have also completed the coursework through the American Welding Society and am certified as a welding engineer. I have over ten years of experience in the industry have developed and implemented new welding procedures for my past employer. My communication skills are very good and there would be no problem with my training others to use these procedures in your company. It was my task to troubleshoot all welding operations which included resolution of cracking, porosity, weldability issues, and welding equipment failures.

I also prepared, reviewed, approved and released the written welding procedures in accordance with specifications and welding qualifications along with welding plans including bead placement sketches, setup sheets and welding instructions. It was also my duty to ensure the qualifications and documentation of all welding procedures and welders along with all documentation of all maintenance of welding and welder qualifications.

It fell to me to supervise all welders and welding operators on critical weld operations and identified, designed, procured and implemented all welding equipment and/or fixture needs. I am also well versed in all aspects of welding including but not limited to the gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, shielded metal arc, submerged arc and plasma arc welding processes.
