I have a bachelor’s degree in business and have worked as an inventory control analyst for more than six years now. My skills include being able to solve routine inventory problems that may be more detailed or complex than normal including system analysis and reconciliation of inventory. There would be no problem with referring to an inventory control policy or guide along with checking data for reconciliation. I have great computer skills and can work with any inventory tracking software, spread sheets or databases.
I have a full understanding of the MRP process which supports inventory control and material flow activities. My communication skills are quite good which allows me to answer any client or customer’s queries in relation to inventory control or material flow within the value chain including internal and external audits. This also enables me to build a productive working relationship with both internally and externally which is very important.
I can take responsibility for the Inventory Control scorecard metrics while gathering and analyzing inventory accuracy and the age of the materials in the SAP interim storage types. It is also possible for me support Lean activities initiated by the Logistics organization on specific projects.
