I am applying for the position of Housekeeping Aide with Doylestown Hospital and my credentials match the requirements mentioned in your posting.

I have two years of experience working in an assisting-living facility where I performed the same duties required by your hospital to fill this position. For this reason, I am certain that I have the experience and skills needed to be the best candidate for this job.

I have great communication skills with the ability to follow instructions verbally or in writing and to work independently to ensure the facility meets company standards. I also have the ability to make good, sound judgment calls and I am familiar with the precautions that need to be taken when working with patients with specific illnesses. I also understand confidentiality is vital to ensure patient privacy rights are not violated.

I have the ability to clean, sanitize and inspect rooms to make sure they are ready for new patients and to change the bedding and thoroughly clean rooms that are currently occupied without disturbing the patients. I can also keep hallways and the lobbies clean and orderly and I understand how to mix and use a variety of cleaning supplies safely.

I am dependable and always show up for my shift on time and in proper uniform. I have great people skills with the ability to greet and welcome visitors into the facility and to maintain good relationships with co-workers and patients.
