After graduating from high school, I completed the training and passed the tests to become a law enforcement officer. I have held this position for four years, during which time I attended Armstrong Atlantic State University and completed a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

My experience includes examining crime scenes, conducting investigations and collecting evidence to use during court proceedings. It also includes arresting perpetrators and presenting the evidence that led to the arrest of the individual(s) in the courtroom.

I have acquired excellent communication skills that include active listening, public speaking and negotiation skills along with the ability to be very persuasive. Other skills useful in this field include awareness, critical thinking and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to make good sound decisions and judgment calls.

I am also physically fit and able to pursue a career in this industry and I know how to use firearms proficiently and how to defend myself in hand-to-hand combat should the need arise. I have made a career out of handling myself professionally when dealing with difficult situations. I always follow the highest ethical standards possible and make it a priority to treat others with respect.
