I have always had an interest in building things since I was very young and I love boats. As a result, I think that working at a boat company is a very interesting career, which is why I am very excited about the opening with your company.
I have experience working with fiberglass and other materials used to make boats. I worked for a small boat building factory for two years in my hometown. However, I was forced to leave when it became necessary for me to make a major move with my family to this area. I enjoyed working for that company and I hated to leave my job behind but I believe that I will get the same satisfaction if hired by your company.
I have the ability to make precise measurements to ensure accuracy and I know how to use a variety of hand and power tools correctly. I know how to read and follow blueprints and in-depth instructions to ensure the parts are cut and put together correctly.
I also have experience working with aluminum boats where I did repairs for a boat shop for about three years. I am very handy with my hands and I have the ability to learn anything that I do not already have experience doing.
