I have extensive knowledge of the standards and procedures of the individual aircraft systems and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations. I hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and I am licensed to work on aircraft engines.
My skills and educational background include the ability to analyze and interpret electrical schematics and to follow computer maintenance manuals and procedures. I have experience driving 10-ton vehicles in tight spaces and I know how to use heavy-duty tools correctly to prevent accidents or injuries.
I have the ability to make repairs that meet the high standards and operational requirements associated with aircrafts and I can make recommendations to help improve safety, productivity and efficiency within the shop. I am also familiar with OH&S and Aviation Quality Assurance procedures and have the ability to comply with these.
I have reliable transportation and an excellent work record. I can work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays. I am physically able to perform all functions required by this position, including crawling into tight spaces and lifting parts weighing around 70 pounds to assemble. I also have 20/20 vision and the ability to work with color-coded components and wiring.
