I am applying for the orthopedic surgeon position that was recently listed by your facility St Francis Medical Center. Attached you will find a copy of my resume and all my degrees and awards that highlights my education and post graduate work in more detail for your convenience and consideration.

My education includes a bachelor’s degree in medicine and I have completed medical school, passed the licensing exam, have completed my five year residency in orthopedic surgery and have also been certified by the American Board of Orthopedic surgery. I also have been working in the field for five years which allowed me to treat patients with skeletal injuries and diseases by performing orthopedic surgeries as per the established guidelines.

I have experience in utilizing medical equipment and tools to effectively to avoid any accidents in the operating room while working with the nurses, the emergency room physicians and other hospital departments to ensure excellent patient care services. There is no problem with me recommending proper diagnostic tests to identify patient’s illness while analyzing the patient’s symptoms in order to develop appropriate treatment plans.

It is within my scope to monitor and record a patient’s progress according to the documentation guidelines and to educate all patients about their treatment procedures. This includes maintaining up to date records of all patient services and treatment procedures and communicating with them to obtain their medical history and health condition at the time of service.
