Here is the Skilled Developmental Therapist Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Stacey Clay,

I am interested in a Developmental Therapist position at Prince William County and have attached my resume for your perusal.

I have obtained a master’s degree in developmental therapy and have a strong background in psychology. I am also licensed in this state and have been practicing in this area for nearly a decade. I have studied and worked in the areas of cognitive, emotional and physical therapy and have specialized in working with adults with development issues.

My experience includes offering training and learning techniques for adults that do not make them feel inferior and that offer them a higher standard of life. In some cases this included offering techniques to help the patient with their educational goals. For other patients the therapy centered on helping them handle difficult situations such as having the ability to leave their home for employment.

I am highly organized and can take on many different cases and can keep track of all patients through written reports and constant monitoring. I have great communication skills and truly enjoy working with those that others may find difficult. I have a high level of patience which is important when dealing with adults that have developmental issues.

I can also work with the families of patients to ensure that all therapy techniques are also being conducted in the home. I do not mind traveling or making home visits to offer therapy sessions where some patients may be more comfortable.

Please feel free to contact me any time at (555)-555-5555 to set up an interview.

Respectfully,

Your Signature

Basil Brooks
