Dear Ms. Tyson,
I am interested in an English Tutor position and have attached my resume to this letter for your consideration. I know that my ability to help those who are challenged by the English language, grammar and spelling would be beneficial to the students and Bloom Trail High School.
The following is a summary of my background and history for your perusal:
•I have been teaching English and tutoring for extra income for more than ten years and enjoy seeing students that finally begin to understand what I am teaching them.
•My availability includes evenings and weekends when most students would need to have extra instruction that is not included during regular school hours.
•I am fully computer literate and can offer students instruction on the internet if there are problems with scheduling.
I know that sometimes student simply need more one on one instruction in order to learn all of the complexities of the English language. For this reason, I know that I would be an effective tutor for those students and would be an asset to Bloom Trail High School.
