Attached you will find my resume in consideration of the transit operator position that is currently available through your company Dart Transit Company.

I have a high school diploma and also have commercial driver’s license along with six years experience driving a transit vehicle. It would be no problem for me to pass any testing required for this position such as a physical exam, driving examination or a drug test. I am able to drive for long stretches, my reflexes are quick and I am alert to all traffic around me and always drive defensively in order to avoid any accidents. In my past position there was a need to operate equipment for the physically disabled passengers and this would not be an issue if needed in the future.

It was also my responsibility to operate light rail equipment such as a trolley and I understand the computer system and controls of it. If required there would be no problem passing any testing of this equipment either. My communication skills are good and I am able to greet passengers in a friendly manner while still maintaining my professionalism. When needed it would be no problem dealing with difficult or unruly passengers and I can diffuse any potentially dangerous situation. I also possess great computer skills and have a familiarity with modern technology in case there is need for that while on the job.
